BRITISH Airways have announced plans to become the first UK airline to offset all carbon emissions on flights within the UK.
The company will roll out the policy from 2020, also investing in carbon reduction globally and planning to cap emissions on domestic flights.
They will become the first company in the UK to offset all of their carbon emissions on domestic flights – meaning they will invest in carbon reduction projects around the world.
The projects include renewable energy, protection of rain forests and reforestation programmes.
