Both China and the European Union have reaffirmed their commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement on Monday, calling other signatories to do the same because the impact of the increasing global temperatures continues to worsen every year.

In their joint communique declaring their stance, both parties have also stressed that the deal proved that “multilateralism can succeed in building fair and effective solutions to the most critical global problems of our time.”
